Vehicle Code

101. Failure to stop
- A person driving a vehicle who fails to stop at an area in which stopping is required indicated by white intersections.
$100 fine and one driver warning.

102. Failure to yield
- A person driving a vehicle who fails to yield to a vehicle with the right-of-way.
$100 fine and one driver warning.

103. Failure to yield to a pedestrian
- A person driving a vehicle who fails to yield the right-of-way to a pedestrian crossing the roadway within any marked crosswalk or within any unmarked crosswalk at an intersection.
$100 fine and one driver warning.

104. Failure to yield to an emergency vehicle
- A person driving a vehicle who refuses to pull over when an emergency vehicle with an active siren or active lights is in the vicinity.
$200 fine.

105. Improper parking
A vehicle parked in the following ways:
- In a manner that obstructs a lane of traffic and prevents the flow of traffic.
- In a manner that completely obstructs an alleyway.
- In a manner that obstructs a parking lot entrance.
- Within a marked crosswalk.
- Within a white intersection.
- In a manner that obstructs more than two thirds of a sidewalk or pedestrian path.
- Facing opposing traffic.
- On any bridges or tunnels.
- On any highway or freeway.
- On railroad tracks or within range of being struck by a railroad car.
- In the immediate ambulatory parking or bay area of a hospital or clinic.
- In front of or obstructing a private driveway or an entrance or exit to a private road or path.
$90 fine and a vehicle impounding.

106. Parking in a restricted government zone
- A person who leaves their vehicle unattended in a government-owned area in which parking is prohibited.
$200 fine and a vehicle impounding.

107. Parking in a restricted zone
- A person who leaves a vehicle unattended in an area in which parking is prohibited.
$200 fine and vehicle impounding.

108. Reckless driving
A person who drives any vehicle carelessly or general disregard for the safety of themselves or others such as:
- Driving on a unpopulated sidewalk, pedestrian passageway, or plaza
- Switching between lanes of traffic erratically.
- Demonstrating poor control of the vehicle or driving decisions. (ie. Speeding while it's raining, lights off in night time)
$400 fine and one driver warning.

109. Speeding
- A person who operates a motor vehicle above the legal speed limit.
The legal speed limit is:
- 45 MPH on any public road inside Las Venturas
- 65 MPH on any public road outside of Las Venturas
- 90 MPH on any Highway with four or more lanes.

$200 fine and one driver warning.

110. Possession of unlawful vehicle modifications - Operating or owning a motor vehicle with nitrous oxide systems (NOS).
$400 fine, two driver warnings, and vehicle impounding
